Overview

Bungee jumping above the Bhote Koshi River of Nepal may be the most spectacular jump on the planet. Free fall of 160m from the suspension bridge is itself the ultimate thrill. The first Bungee Jump site of Nepal is located close to the Tibet Border in North East of Nepal which is designed by the New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants and which is operating by some of the most experienced jump masters.

3 hours scenic drive from Kathmandu through the Araniko Highway passing by beautiful towns, villages and along the edge of Bhote Koshi River brings us to Bungee Jumping site at The Last Resort. Free fall from the suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River is surely the lifetime thrilling experience.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and makes an arrangement to transfer you to a hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel Encounter Nepal.

Dinner

Day 2Bungee Jumping

After early breakfast drive towards The Last Resort, the bungee jumping point which is located near to the Tibetan border. Upon arrival Bungee professionals will examine your pressure, measure the weight and tagged the no. to jump. When your turn comes, bungee professional will tie you up with harnesses and make you ready to jump into the deep gorge of Bhote Koshi River. After breathtaking free fall and feeling the adrenalin jump of 160 m you need to hike up for about half an hour to have delicious lunch in the Resort. After then we drive back to Kathmandu via same route.

Day 3Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Bauddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world overnight at Hotel Encounter Nepal.

Day 4Hike to Nagarkot (2175 m)

Today, we get up early in the morning at around 4 am and head to Nagarkot which takes about half an hour for the mesmerizing Sunrise view. If the weather is clear, we will view the mesmerizing Sunset along with spectacular views of the Himalayan range. You will enjoy the best view of Kathmandu valley from here. After breakfast in Nagarkot, we head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and be tempted with the enchanting woodcarvings and other beautiful sceneries. Later, in the afternoon, we return to our hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 5Departure Day

Our scheduled Bungee jump and the trek comes to an end today! One of the representatives from Black Diamond Expedition will escort you to Tribhuvan international airport approximately 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight for the next destination.

Accomodation

In Kathmandu, you will be accommodated at Hotel Encounter Nepal or a similar category hotel. Your accommodation will be in standard hotels and lodges, each offering twin-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms and convenient hot shower amenities. If you desire a single-supplement room, it is available for an additional charge. Booking a room in advance affords you better options to select the room or hotel that best suits your preferences.

Your meal plan in Kathmandu includes Dinner and Breakfast. After having breakfast, we will begin our tour and you will have lunch at the resort.  You can enjoy Nepali cuisine and various delicious Nepali foods while on this tour. 

When to Travel?

The best seasons for bungee jumping are for all seasons and Spring. The weather is sunny and warm making the views outstanding in these seasons. Additionally, during the autumn season in Nepal, you can immerse yourself in the festival vibes of Dashain and Tihar.
